so if you buy an xfx card and then later decide to sell it to someone else, that person also has the lifetime warranty

thus, double lifetime warranty

I'm kinda concerned about this whole graphics card vs. cpu thing......:\ Should I really just stick with the 3800+ and get this card or should i get the toledo 4400+ instead and not as good graphics card...???

Also for the motherboard: The DFI mobos seem like they are good for overclocking, but I'm not planning to over clock because I don't want to void warrenty on any parts until they expire and then I'd only OC if my computer started becoming slow....

what motherboard do you suggest?

Nope. None. I'm gonna make a complete list and buy all or almost all the parts at once from all the different places:) ex: Newegg and zipzoomfly...

Just a heads-up: we're doing a pretty nice sale on DFI boards right now, and we've got the Ultra-D for about $10 less than the Egg. I didn't check any of the other prices since they are honestly usually lower, but we can beat them on the board for sure.

Ok, I have a question. I don't plan on overclocking my cpu until I have to.... meaning that it starts getting old and the warrenty is gone etc.. since I haven't OC b4 and that I like my parts to last a long time:)

What mobo do you ppl think i should get...? I'm getting a x2 3800+ with a toledo core i think......
^not sure...

If you do plan to OC at all, the DFI is a great idea. If not, you may want to steer away from it; it can be picky and a bit harder to work with. Consider an Asus A8N-E perhaps...

If you plan to OC, as I mentioned, go with the DFI board, and yes, splurge a little more on the Toledo core.

If, however, you are not going to OC, then don't worry about getting the Toledo core. It only really helps if you plan to over-clock it; otherwise, it runs exactly the same as the Manchester.

Well I may overclock once the warrenty ends and it starts to become slow....

So is the toledo core worth it then...?

Do you suggest the SLI verson DFI...? I don't plan on getting a nother 7800GT until the prices of them drop alot and that other stuff is out there.

Nah, I wouldn't worry about the SLI setup. Actually, I beleive there is a way to "mod" the Ultra-D to enable SLI if you ever choose to do so. In any case, I really don't think SLI is a very good value; so I'd say go with the Ultra-D in any case.

The DFI board is picky with ram last I knew. No corsair value ram + DFI board.

Asus is a decent company. They have a large market share, so there is more people to complain about them.

The X2 3800 vs what? It's a dual core chip, which means there are 2 cpus on 1 chip. It makes multitasking a lot nicer, smoother, faster. Most games at the moment wont see any benefit from it, but future games likely will take heavy advantage of it.
