Fixed. Watch FoodTV and see if you can ever spot one single beef dish in a day. If you do, you are lucky. It is all seafood and the occasional insect/chicken/duck dish. That definately doesn't qualify as overrated.

Not when you rarely get a chance to eat good quality beef! If I wanted to eat a good steak in the city, it'd cost about $100 per person. If this experience turns out good, it'd be like striking gold although I do have my thoughts about frozen and delivered beef. I'm excited nevertheless.

A quality steak runs $20-$40 here.
 
Well you're in Chicago and may not be calculating sitting down at a restaurant, ordering a drink, appetizer, entree, desert. It will run that much at a decent restaurant.

Buying alcohol in any restaurant runs the tab up rather quickly, especially in a major city where a standard mixed drink can run $7-$12.
 
You can get a decent steak for much less than $100 in the city. In any case, Omahas steaks are terrible, much worse than the angus beef you can buy at the supermarket

You sir are a criminal... you could go to a butcher's shop in NYC (Or whatever big city you live in) and pick up some great two inch thick cuts of beef tenderloin and grill it to perfection served over garlic mashed potatoes and a brown sauce with roasted portabello mushrooms for the tastiest taste treat ever.

Flamegrilled Filet and Portobello Mushroom
Center cut filet over Portobello mushroom and caramelized red onions. Served with blended Asiago cheese leek potatoes.

Well I knew it was something like that... anyway...
