That Omaha steak deal is good and the meat is tasty. Just follow the instructions for some awesome meals!
And it comes in dry ice!!! It's worth the price for that alone!!😀

Yea dry ice is pretty cool. I want to throw it at an old lady while it's raining and watch it stick to her face!
Dude, that is wrong on so many levels.

Really?

Like I said, the beef they sell here is shite and it ain't much cheaper than eating at a restaurant. There are no cows or grass in NYC!

there are cows if you go not too far upstate. and apples...lots of apples.

Dude, if you want to buy a steak don't go into the supermarket. On a nice day, take the 6 down the chelsea market and there's vendors selling, last I saw, some really nice cuts of meat. Stop by fat witch bakery and pick some of the awesomest brownies evar too. Or visit greenmarket or, if you have some cash, whole foods down on 23rd-ish.

Well I live near the wholefoods area and find that stuff to be a lot more expensive than Omaha Steaks. Greenmarket and Chelsea market as well.

Tis here. I will take pics later on. Them suckas came completely frozen without a hint of thawing. Awesome. I threw some of the dry ice at my landlord and she got mad but half her face froze in a short time. I was about to kick her in the head but then I thought she'd shatter into a few pieces if I did that so I left her alone.

Y'know, I live in Omaha and I've never tried those. Hopefully the steak I get at the store is from Nebraska cows.

I got the American Celebration combo via UPS today as well. Already tried one of the ground beef burgers which was excellent. Tonight I'll cook some of the top sirloins, potatoes au gratin, and stuffed sole 🙂

Nebraska corn-fed beef is just about the best steak I've had. Plus it's available fresh at the supermarket and inexpensive.

Can you ship them over to NYC while keeping them fresh?

As long you kill em at NYC

How did you thaw out the meat?

I just left the steaks on the cutting board they provided for a couple hours and they thawed out just fine. For the burger, I just threw it on the foreman grill 😛
