Just awaiting an invoice and the PDI (when all the aero bits get installed).

I'm hoping they get the invoices early tomorrow.

edit: Updated title to properly indicate the new location of my vehicle.

I've been looking at all the cars already delivered, thought maybe you were one of them.

BTW, not sure if you saw this, but they just updated the oil change interval for the dry-sump cars.

2014/2015 Z51 and Z06 Corvettes – Additional Required Maintenance
The following message only applies to dry sump Corvettes that have not had their first oil change performed.
Some 2014/2015 Z51 and Z06 Corvettes may experience a condition that leads to oil leaking out from the air cleaner assembly. This
condition may be caused by running the engine continuously at a high engine speed with the first factory fill oil, resulting in silicone
sealants in the engine’s gaskets degrading the oil’s anti-foaming agents. The oil foam has no effect on the engine’s durability.
Effective Immediately:
GM is changing the required maintenance schedule for all 2014/2015 Z51 and Z06 Corvettes equipped with dry sump systems. The new
schedule will require the oil/filter be changed immediately after the break-in period, which occurs after the first 500 miles of operation.
Once the break-in oil change is performed

I may or may not have woken up at 4am this morning any been unable to go back to sleep because of this.....

I know a guy with an S1000RR. I don't mess with bikes in a straight line. On curves and braking though....

I looked up the specs on your car. Almost identical to my new bike. Pretty impressive for a car. The bike has a slight advantage but it would probably come down to who gets the better launch.

I went with a manual because I like them more, and the extremely long 1st has an impact on launches. It's only advertised as a 3.2s to 60. The auto has a much shorter 1st and shift fast enough that it can do 2.95s.

Sounds like tomorrow probably unless they get the invoices tonight. I am visiting it at the dealer in a bit though.

Thanks man. Yeah. I saw that when it was release a few weeks ago.

Somewhat upset that they released the information after I went 1000 before my first change. Hopefully it's more of a CYA measure than something to worry about.

Did they actually get a window sticker yet? All the ones I saw had blank ones.

No, but the mileage has come out for the m7. 15/22. 18 blended. 22.8 unadjusted, so .3 mpg over the cut off for gas guzzler.

I was somewhat surprised that it wasn't 2-3 mpg better than the ZR1, but overall not a huge deal for people that can afford a car like a Z06. My CTS-V didn't make the cutoff at 13/21 so the GGT was $1300 I believe for the M6.

The invoices were transmitted to dealers last night/this morning. Going to buy it at lunch.

I promise I won't castiel you guys. 😉
