I'm going to stop by the local shop here. They got theirs today. Already put it on the dyno :) ~585hp/617tq.

You're near Vengeance Racing then ;)

It's raining here so I had to put it away. There are numerous pictures, but they've not been color corrected and made available to me yet.

*Slightly* stiffer ride than base C7. Sound off throttle is very similar. Sound on throttle over around 3,500rpm is crazy.

I can't really get good performance impressions until I get 500 miles on it and can push it. So far so good, but it is chilly and wet here today, so I can't do much with it.

Well, here is the part I anticipate being seen by others the most....

Also, from the back shot you can see the tires and why it is parked the rest of the day due to rain.

Yep. I live about 2 miles from the shop. They did the work on my CTS-V and maybe the C7 depending on what I decide.

Engine anyone? Also, this isn't a plastic cover. That's the top of the SC housing. Not much to look at, but sure is useful.

I'm a big fan of the last generation V. It really performs better than it has a right to on track with all that weight. It is disconcerting to ride as a passenger around the track and feel so isolated from the road though. Other than the acceleration (braking, turning, etc) it is as comfortable on track as it is on the freeway.

Damnit, I jumped the gun on my C7 by a few months. Looks great and congrats for not doing chrome rims. The silver looks very good.

The chrome looks ok, but I prefer the silver. I think black would go well with it as well, but I prefer the overall look of a car that keeps silver wheels instead. Black wheels and black trim give a car a totally different look in my view. It is not a bad look, but I like the brighter look that keeping a lighter colored wheel gives.

Also, I don't have the clear center spoiler part installed on any of the pictures. That will stay off until it goes to the track. During street driving, it won't matter at all. I'll never need the extra rear down force on public roads.

I still don't like the rear of any C7 including the Z06. But the front looks awesome. And great choice sticking with the silver wheels. I think silver looks the best. And I like that blue color. Very classy.

The closest I'm likely to come to piloting once of these would be in a racing sim.

But still, very very nice Ferzerp. Also, props for getting a manual. :)
