My new wheels

Bought this car a week ago. She is really clean, and has hardly any cancer. Motor grenaded on me when I brought her home, so now she has a new motor from VW in Mexico

It has been 17 years since I have owned one of these, and I am glad I spent the money:beer:

I have a 72 squareback with about 3K into the engine. (built it when I was working as a VW Mech)

1776 with ALL the goodies!

Since this is a new motor, I have about $2400 in parts and labor. Long block was $1400, I didn't want to half ass it, so I put all new parts on the motor also. Nice paint job, some fancy interior, and she'll be a nice daily driver.

Thanks for the info, and I did go to the newer style of oil cooler.

Also, let me suggest a set of Swivel Feet Valve Adjusters
