My new cat watches an entire movie!

Sometimes my cat will watch TV. One time I was watching the Planet Earth show and they were showing some lions. She stopped and stared at them while they walked off the screen. She then proceeded to check the side of the TV to see where they had gone. :laugh:
 
Our cat does the same thing. They have to be animated movies though, like a Disney movie or Shrek or something similar anything else wouldn't get his attention.

Well, you should get a bird feeder and see what happens then. My cats will stare at a bird and be completely motionless for about 15 minutes. Whatever position their body is in when they notice the bird, that's the position it stays in, even if they have one paw on a ledge and are crouched in a way that would cause permanent spinal injury to a human.

No, I generally dislike popular entertainment purposely made to appeal to the lowest commmon denominator. Why? On account of it is usually not particularly clever, very predictable (indeed repetitive), and overly sentimental. That pretty much sums up Shrek. But by all means, carry on enjoying your fart jokes and pop culture references.
