I couldn't argue with the deal I got, plus the wife wants to drive it too.

That makes sense. Still awesome though, I think my next car will be a vette or a stang, or some other sports car. Like you said, you only live once. Atm I'm living my my Harley payments lol. One thing at a time :D

I really wanted the competition gray rims, the chrome is not my cup of tea either, but the price was right and I can always change em later.

Can't argue with that either, but I still have to live with her everyday- and there are some things that the Vette can't give me that she can. :D

Vette should provide you with variety of all such things when properly utilized :D

Very nice, but has anyone seen a '58 Vette for sale? (for a reasonable price...)

Nice man, I was looking at one last night, still can't convince the GF that I'm too young for a Vette.

Cool, what are the details on yours ? is it a daily driver ?

2007 C6 1LT A6. Had it for 2 years now. I've replaced the stock exhaust with GHL and sway bars with Z51. It's not a daily driver. Wish it was but I need my cargo van and pickup truck for work. It only has 3,200 miles in the 2 years and that makes me sad. About the only time I can drive it is on the weekend early in the morning before my wife and daughter wakes up. But it puts a huge smile on my face when I do drive it. Such an incredible car.

No such thing as a reasonable price for one of those things. But I wouldn't want one. They ride like a truck.

I want to build a 1962 Corvette, the last one to use that evocative body style, paint it jet black, apply IRS, etc.

Awesome- Yellow is one of the best looking colors, I didn't want the attention that it would draw though. Any problems with it so far in the 2 years? Anything you would change about it ?
Hows the GHL sound ? I wanted the NPP exhaust so I could set it up to open/close with a switch so I could control the drone. mine will be a 6 to 8 month/year daily driver, my commute is so short though that won't crack much mileage.

Nice car, a c6 is my next car. What are they letting those go for? Once 0% came out all the local dealers jacked up the 08 prices up to MSRP. I don't think I should have to negotiate down from MSRP on their leftovers from last year.

Coworker just bought a '08 1LT Z51 6MT - he got rid of his '07 3LT 6AT.

I was suprised at how damn firm that Z51 suspension is.

Great looking car!
