This is great. I'm surprised it was only $1600 to build, seems like the legos would cost more than that. Congrats!

They probably would, but I think the OP used fake LEGO bricks (unless LEGO started selling bricks with lots of misformed studs and the letters "WG" instead of "LEGO" printed on them).

Still a very cool piece though.
