Just partition your drive and install windows. Than u can play any game and use linux for everything else.

Also I really like the Gnome desktop - much cleaner and snappier than the KDE one in SUSE and things are looking up!
Even the damn NUM LOCK!

Heh, I always get a kick out of these threads.
I'm kind of guessing the average user won't know this either. I remember when we had to know this kind of thing in DOS. Boy, I miss those days. Wait... no I don't.
I wonder why the OEM "should be doing this in theory"? Which theory is that? Is it the theory that says it's better to have a dozen different drivers for your hardware floating around? I agree it's always better for the tech support people to have to figure out which freeware driver you're running before they help you.
I'm pretty sure it's awful, even if you understand the history and purpose. The purpose, of course, is to edit text, which should be hard.
Linux just doesn't have great support for _random_ hardware.]
I guess I'll stop there. Had my fun. Honestly, I don't know why Linux guys can't just enjoy their O/S on its technical merits, instead of pretending that it is so mass-market ready that only a drooling fool could fail to use it properly.

Show me a thread posted by a bunch of Windows people entitled: "How do we get our act together and defeat Linux in 2006?" You might find that on an MS newsgroup, I suppose.
