Insurance Companies are indeed the DEVIL!, I just recently dealt with Auto insurance and our idiotic local court regarding my dad's accidents. They are indeed a mirror face of how evil a corporation can get.

Got back from Indy last night, been recovering all day... I have not been working on the situation much because of that and the holidays, but I'll be getting it taken care of sometime next week.

Sorry to hear about your situation, but could you elaborate on the diving accident? What were you diving into? I knew a guy who dived into a ditch and ended up paralized from the neck down too. Please elaborate, you may just save someone else's life with the details.

Well, it honestly wasn't my intention to "dive" in the first place since the pool was 4ft deep. I've always been an athletically awkward person. I ran across a deck, lept head first over a small chair to kinda "skim" the surface. I went more like an arc, and hit the bottom on a shallow angle. It felt like I had been electrocuted, my entire body buzzed. I floated to the top face down with pretty much no muscle control but my head, neck, and shoulders. I floated for about a minute when everyone I was with realized I wasn't kidding, and someone held my head above water until my mom arrived; she was called AFTER 911, and ran with no shoes on (she was cooking dinner) halfway across town and held me above water.

Paramedics arrived soon thereafter. I was boarded, collared, and put into an ambulance for the short ride to the medevac landing zone. I remember the entire accident up until I fell asleep from shock when I was being wheeled into the trauma room. The next few weeks were a drugged blur. I was in traction, then had my spine fused with bone from my hips and a whole bunch of titanium...Kinda glad I was wasted forthat.

Thanks for the words, guys.

I never sent back the repayment agreement, and explained my situation to my case manager there. I'm not 100% positive its over, but they've been paying for prescriptions and I've recieved the "Youre over 21, prove you're in college or permanantly disabled" forms...Things seem to be somewhat solved. We'll see.
