Plyometric Cardio Circuit:
I felt really stiff in the morning, almost wanted to call it quits already. the Insanity "warm-up" is a joke and felt like an insane amount of exercise itself. Muscles finally quit hurting once I got into the actual workout. Still really sore afterwards.

10:30am - Baby carrots, apple, 1/2 handfull of mixed nuts
12:30pm - Salad with chicken (crockpot), carrots, 1.5tbsp of Caesar dressing

Pure Cardio:
Dear Lord.

LOL, I actually enjoy Pure Cardio because 1) it has the ski hops late in the program and that's always a breather and 2) it's just 16 minutes of continuous workout with no repetition so it seems to go faster.

I'm finishing my 3rd week of Insanity, and I agree with CPA on the Pure Cardio day. No repetition and it goes by quickly. However, once you start adding Cardio Abs it becomes exhausting!

I think Plyometrics is still the hardest workout for me. It's just nonstop madness.

I was surprised by how out-of-shape I turned out to be when I first started this program. I suffered from EXTREME muscle soreness after the Fit Test (couldn't take the stairs without limping.) I had to rest for 3 days before I could continue with the program.

Now however, I feel great. And I'm starting to see some changes in the mirror. Can't wait for day 60.

Yeah, I'm still doing this, just got lazy with doing the log. I'm on week 2, day 3. Week 1 was brutal, but by the end my muscle soreness started to dissapate. The fit test was unbearable almost lol. I do enjoy the pure cardio now; I think the thing I hate the most out of everything is the damn warmup. I HATE the warmup.

I had to skip Monday because of some severe sunburns from the weekend, but it's ok because I spent the entire Sunday swimming, so I got a good workout.

Can you do insanity and continue your regular workouts?

Typically I workout 1.5 hr a day
45 min Insanity will still leave extra 45 min for swimming, rowing, biking, running, or some weights...
Is it possible?

Is it possible?

Yes. I just came back from a vacation in Turkey. I would swim during the day and do all kinds of activities, then go back to my room in the evening, do my Insanity workout, and shower.

Just make sure you eat enough food to keep your energy up, and drink lots of water!
