Wow! Those noises are kinda scary! Whew! At least I don't have a phaser in my computer. But those clicking sounds? All I have to say is OUCHY!!!
 
UCBPride, SergeantDan is right - you need some feedback for your specific problem.

The clicking noises are probably normal sounds made by the drive. The noise I experienced was a scratching/light grating sound, as if there had been a mouse trapped inside the case trying to get out (best description I can come up with).

Anyway, from what you're saying, I'd say you're okay.
