And i gave this game an 8 out of 10 earlier...lol

After playing with it a bit more, and trying others games like Toca2, PGR2,Burnout 3,Moto gp 2,Rallisport challenge 2, Gran Turismo 4 on ps2....god this game stINKS!!!

The game is , first, one of the worst looking game on the xbox. (I have an hdtv tv to do some nice testing.)IMO the best lookings games on xbox are RC2,Toca 2,Burnout 3( i still think toca 2 look the most realistic ) and forza motorsport doesnt even come close to that.In fact it look worst than Gotham 2!!!The game is cap at a crappy 30fps so they can put the ANTIALIASIING....WOAAAA..... ridiculous.The game, seriously, lack graphics.And it doesnt even support 720p or 1080i like GT4 on ps2....... 3 out of 10 on graphic side.Oh yeah...i said that the nurbugren track was looking good on Forza? Sorry i take back my word.After trying it back in GT4,...GT4 just look more realistic...and better.

Tracks? Lol.There is what 16 tracks total( each with a "part 2" ) so it give you 32 tracks like... and add to that around 10 test cours.....not even half of what GT4 offer you( toca 2 got more tracks )Very dissapointed here....a great 5 out of 10 for the track selection.

Sound? Crap, period.Remind me sound of n64 games...seriously.I got a 5.1 surrond system at home...and omg... 0 out of 10 for sound.I got the feeling of hearing my vacuum cleaner when i drive....

Good points of the game: FERRARI'S!!! Yeah ferrari's in tha game!!!!!...And car damage that you see on your car.These are the good points.Thaaaats it.I just can't find anything better in this game.The game lack finishing totally.

So overall its a great 3-4 out of 10 in my book.This game doesnt deserve better than that.Stick with Toca 2 for a good sim game on xbox if you only have that,and if you have a ps2...well stick with gt4..dont even bother trying or looking at it seriously.

As much as I like GT4 this smacks of a retaliation to that other thread from a day or two ago bashing GT4.

I gotta say - I own an XBox and have been resistant to buying a PS2, but GT4 does seem a lot better than Forza. I look forward to the reviews . . .

I have an xbox and pretty much bought the PS2 for GT4...along with a driving wheel...and a driving seat...and I fashioned a stand to mount the wheel to in front of my 50" mitsubishi. It rocks! I might pick up Forza if it's worthy...and I can plug my Logitech force feedback wheel into the xbox. If not, forget it.

Take my word dude.Rent it before buying it.That can save you $50 ;)

Im an xbox owner and im buying a ps2 in a few weeks when price will drop..along with gt4.

So for now...im enjoying the ps2 i rented with gt4 hehe :)

i knew that stupid game was a dud. they should just stick to flight simulator but xbox fanboi's praised it like it's some steamy pile. GT4 is all you need.

Damn you... I bought a PS2 for GT4 too... minus the seat, steering wheel, and 50" TV. It sucks. After trying the wheel/seat/bigscreen setup... it just sucks with the pad. :(

I haven't tried the full version... but I played the demo at compusa. It sorta looked like PGR2... but people here said it was the end-all-be-all of racing games... so I thought I should wait for reviews...

i say yourself is the best reviewer. i'd go rent it before you buy it... unless you KNOW that a game would be good right out the box, like GT4 or MGS or something.

i'm not buying an xbox for this thing :p unless it really is that great... but as of right now id rather spend that money on a steering wheel and a seat for GT4.

yeah. i play GT4 through a 13-inch TV with some hooked up speakers =/ oh well im not as hardcore as i was when it comes to gaming.

This is just 1 review and opinion. I would wait till I see all the user reviews on all the gaming sites. I think it's a lot like TOCA 2 except that came out first. TOCA 2 deserves a lot of praise and Forza would've gotten it instead if it were last year.

What TOCA 2 & PGR2 lack in comparison is damage effects and mods that actually affect the car. Otherwise, it is at least up to par. So all in all, it's not as bad as it's made to sound in the OP. Again, I'd wait for all the reviews that come out before claiming it was all fanboi-ism. Too bad a lot of short-sighted people will be judging against the hype instead of the actual game.

I will laugh my ass off if this game turns out to be just average. MS has been hyping the hell out of this game for a year and all the Xbox fanboy;s have too for just as long. I have been banned more than once in Xbox forums for bringing up GT4. We'll see what happens.

And rh71, ToCA2 did have damage and it did affect your car's performance.

sorry you're right about ToCA2... but Forza still has more to offer... it certainly is not worse than any other XBOX racer IMHO. It's not revolutionary, but more like an improvement on top of the others which are tried and true... many would say that's worth a lot.

Forza is not the be all-end all of racing games, nor does it claim to "dethrone GT4," I just look at it as a good racing game that i'm going to pick up =) If some of you guys dont want to enjoy it, your loss.

Ok, I have been playing this game for about two hours. It is better than I thought it would have turned out. Guess I am not going to get to laugh my ass off like I had thought. Hopefully I can transfer my profile so I can go online with lots of cars on Tuesday.
