bur i've got to say that i owne more then 150 games and only 7 are originals ( just imagine the amount of money i saved from buiyng games that i'll only play about 10 minutes )

and one more thing --- the average pay in Portugal for an office job is about 700? a month ( +/- 800 dolars ) , wish may seem bad but our cost of living is also very lower, but games ( and dvd's ) ate taxed in all europe by the same , so a guy i Spain ( for example ) makes like 2000 a month and buy's a xbox game for 60 , in Portugal a guy makes 700 and also buy's the same game for 60 , THAT ISN´T FAIR !!!!!!!!!!!

so FVCK the major disribuiters if i can download a game and try it i WILL

I bought CMR 2005 from codemasters and it took 3 months to get here...

By the time it did, it was already shipped to the US so I just got one from FRY's. Now I have two.

Seems you are in the minority. Have you ever tried to enter a turn at 50mph? One who have disagree with you on Forza's simulation aspect. The fact that Forza feels different than GT4 is not unusual because GT4 is not quite a simulation.

well apparently professional drivers that play tested the new physics model say that its dead on.. there was an article last month that said they would cut nearly identicle laps as their averages on the tracks with thier same cars they normally drive...

now that being said it could be hype.. the demo was horrible but it was posted before they pulled the game back to rework..
but i must say if they are telling the truth and the physics and modeling are that close it may be worth the time to check out.

Actually I don't see why it can't. The physics of driving are complex but not endlessly so, and real-world F1 drivers use PC and console F1 racing games to brush up on the race circuits. I imagine if you hooked an Xbox with Forza or a PS2 with GT4 up to a 3-D simulation seat (a la a training flight simulator), you'd have one of, if not the most accurate driving simulators on earth.

Well they can say what they want but RJ de Vera is not a "professional racer"... lol... he was in Fast and the Furious of all movies. lol. He's one of the people that got this import thing going. Maybe the other guy was a professional racer. Anyway, GT4 head, Kazunori Yamauchi claims they put a "Nurburgring racer" on the GT4 version and he lapped within 4-5 seconds of his real lap time. That's within 1% considering the track is 13 miles long. So basically, both companies say their game is realistic. :laugh:

well, the forza i played was the demo, and from the demo, i think the game is nothing close to touching gt4. graphics, physics, it doesnt compete with gt4. ive yet to try the full game cause its barely out. i will try the full game once i get a chance, but from the demo.. man... it surely was all hype to me!

as for taking a turn at 50mph, ive done that on countless occassions. im very much into motorsports, and do partake in some curvy mountain runs here in arizona, in fact, ive taken turns at close to 80mph.

That's what I noticed in the videos I've seen of it... it almost looks impossible to take a corner at speed without fishtailing. It looks like more of an arcade racer than a sim from what I've seen. I'll still buy it though.
