So I said "definitely".

And then she got pissed.

You should have known better than to answer that question truthfully. You should have said, "No honey, I wouldn't want to lose you for all the money in the world." It's not the truth, but it would have kept you out of trouble.

I seriously think shes gone off the deepend. Im going to ask her if she wants to go see a shrink.

I have had a couple of girlfriends who liked to asked those kind of minefield questions. The way I dealt with them was to laugh and say "ah another minefield you want me to step in". After a while they catch on.

She's not crazy, and I doubt she needs help. She just wants to feel that your truly value the relationship. That's why she was bothered by your answer. Because it seemed like you'd be willing to just give her up for money. She didn't want a truthful answer. She wanted an answer that made her feel better about the relationship.
