I said I never did it, but Ihave seen it done. I jsut didn't partake. So yes it is real. And while cows dont' always get hurt, it is possible. And it is very hard for them to get back up. It's a very sad thing to see.

You're lying. I hereby offer $500 to anyone who wants to come to southern Connecticut and let me see them tip over an actual cow. Any takers? I went to the University of Connecticut at Storrs which has barns right on campus. In my time there I ran into at least 100 guys who claimed to have tipped a cow and another 500 who had "seen it done". Not a single one of them was actually willing to go out and do it when challenged.

It's not real, it's pure BS. Ever notice that every discussion on this topic is "my friends did it..." or "I know a guy who had a roommate in college that did it..."? Nobody actually tips cows, it's one of those things that gets passed from generation to generation by the truly gullible who believe the guy down the hall who says that he did it once. We live in an age where everyone has access to a camcorder and where every act known to man is videotaped ad infinitum. I defy anyone to produce a video of an actual cowtipping and not just 3rd-hand lies about somebody who claims to have done it. The next time you run into a person that claims to have tipped a cow, offer to drive him to the nearest farm and say you'll pay $100 to watch him do it. Watch how fast they back down.

heh, ya i wouldnt mind seeing some footage of the actuall process, ive only heard stories

Nope, sorry, not lying. I won't presonally do it, I like animals, and I like cows, and as I said I would not do it, I let other poeple do it, but please do not call me a liar. I pride myself on the fact that I tell the truth.

You get a couple of guys and run at that cow as it is sleeping and tip it over. It's not THAT hard... but it is really bad for the cows and therefore for the farmer.

I don't understand what is so "unbelievable" about it to questions whether or not it has ever been done??

You sneak out at night, walk into a cow pasture, and tip a sleeping cow over. Its fun and you laugh. End of story.

Put up or shut up. Let's see you or one of the others who claim to have done it (conveniently without any withnesses, much like a UFO abduction) produce a video to prove it.

even most turtles can get back up if on their back. takes a while and alot of effort. most animals dont have absurd weaknesses. i'm sure a cow can eventually roll up on its knees, then feet.

I don't think it was said they couldn't just that it was hard. It's dangerous for them b/c of the actual fall onto their side, not getting back up.

i just looked at 30 or so 'cow tipping' websites, and not a single one had a picture, let alone a video clip, of a cow tipped over, or the process

It is true. Cows sleep standing up. When they are asleep you push them over. Drunk kids like doing it. The BS thing is that the cows die from it.

People really have nothing better to do then tip cows over eh? they should come to my house and I'll tip them over a few times. Maybe they'll think twice about bugging a cow...
