Her: But the concrete sticks it to the parking lot.
Me: No, you cant really use concrete like glue to stick stuff to pavement.
Her: Wow, I thought all these light poles were just stuck to the parking lot by the cement.
Me: You mean sorta like they just stick buildings to the ground with summa that sticky cement?
Her: They do? I thought the basements held them down.
Me: Hmmmm....maybe the basement is what keeps 'em from getting sucked into a tornado.
Her: Exactly. That's why I wanted a house with a basement.
