I just find it a bit odd--we encourage males in society to go shag some chickies, but not females...I can't quite scientifically pin point it. There's that whole accusation of sluts, being dirt...maybe it's the fact that females will always get a taker by some desperate male, but not vice versa?

It's a product of patriarchal society. Women were and are treated as property that must be protected.
