I'm sorry notfred. That really sucks. I know how much that would upset me, too. The fact that its the holiday time of the year probably makes it worse. But it doesn't sound like it was a bitter breakup, as she still called. I guess worse things could have happened.

I'm sure you are especially frustrated with the people that keep refering to her as the 'girl with the ass.' This is exactly why I will not post the name/pics/anything to do about my girlfriend that can be traced to her. There are at least 12 AT OTers that are probably within 1 mile of where she lives, and that would freak her out. Not to mention it'd make me angry if any of them referred to her by such a objectifiable name.

I can certainly empathize. When my ex and I dilated our emotional attachment so substantially that the conversational epilog with "I love you" ended, I actually told her I no longer loved her in a futile attempt to end the pain. I need not state that the result was worse than if I had simply endured.

Not more than you, Red Dawn! ;) So you would be right that I couldn't be more. . . .

I don't think asking to whom someone refers and wishing someone a bright future or recovery is transgressional. :)
I might be a bigger asshole but I seriously doubt that I or anybody else on this forum is as annoying as you.

Could someone fill me on on this hatred toward luvly? I don't read many threads in OT :)

I think all the guys really like Luvly -- they all have crushes on her. But some guys act mean towards her -- it's kind of like how a boy in kindergarden likes a girl -- so he pulls her pony tail and throws spit balls at her to get her attention.;)

The hate towards luvly is mostly because it is 'fashionable' here. I disagree with her only went it fits, not because of what public opinion states.

Just because someone isn't all kissy kissy when another is having a problem doesn't make them wrong. Also many many people here live imaginary lives that change it seems on a monthly basis and like her I remember the 'stories' people tell and then later on recant.

I agree. It's especially hard when they want their stuff back and you don't want to give it back to them because you wasted 2 years of your life with them and you think you are entitled to it. Well I am entitled to it! I worked hard many nights dancing so that we could have nice stuff. Screw him and his $8 an hour job!

I would say just give it time, no matter how far down I was the 'fix' would come.

My losses have been great in this endevour though....I could measure the monetary in hundreds of thousands....which is made worse by a total change in lifestyle due to investments lost that were sort of once in a lifetime events.

Wow, and this is why ATOT isn't the same as before. We now have "luvly" who has no manners what so ever. And everyone then jumps on her case and flames her. Great way to show her guys!

LOL!

And notfred, you are the man for not posting it. I would've posted it just to rant. Not to satisfy anyones curiousity just because getting it all out kinda helps. Sorry to hear ya'll broke up. :(

Sorry to hear that, notfred. Believe me, I feel your pain. Be strong and hang in there.
