He has an older card and Nik was trying to convince him to upgrade it. I would if I were him but then again he doesn't game on it so I guess he doesn't have to.

I dare you.

Yeah it's setup just too lazy to hookup the digicam --> PC --> web host --> post URL in this thread.

(puts on flame suit)

This is going to sound retarded but maybe I should use analog instead of DVI?

RossMAN, as I was sitting here waiting for pics, I was somehow subconciously lulled into looking for a hot deal for pizza tonight (undoubtedly due to the fact that I was waiting for the Grand Nagus to finish his story).

Anyway, Papa John's had 2 large 2 topping pizzas for $10.99. It's going to be here in ~30 minutes, and I want to look at before and after pics while I eat ham and pineapple pizza.

NO

use the NEC Brightness Controller, that does the trick for me!

If you're using a good driver set, you should be able to adjust Gamma and contrast through your Advanced Display Properties. That's what I did; keeps the brightness low for browsing and work, but resets to default for gaming.

Awesome, I hopped on the same deal, but I got the 2001FP instead. Didn't want to deal with the funky resolution.

It is a very nice monitor.

Grats dude!! hehe my monitor is arriving sometime today . Can't wait !!!

Sweet deal on the 2005FPW, I just bought a 19' Dell LCD for under $200 and I'm satisfied with it (but a bit jealous of that extra inch).

Lots of people tend to be jealous of my extra inch... er... on the 2005 I just bought 😉

It really is a sweet monitor. Having a 1680x1050 LCD paired with a 1800x1440 21" CRT is awesome, for once I have more desktop space than I know what to do with
