Do you know what happens when you are stabbed? I met a guy who came across some other guy getting mugged and stepped in. One of the Muggers slashed (as opposed to stabbed) him in the chest which shredded his muscle which in turn crippled him arm due to the Muscle tissue fraying. The end result was him losing most of the use of his arm and it being withered.

Now I can understand fighting back if you have a weapon or if it was your wife or friend being attacked physically but not for a wallet/credit Card unless you were trained in self defence.

I don't know - the potential for a gun or knife is never known... so it's best to just give it up. And I never carry more than $40 in my wallet if I can help it.

In my opinion, the only way to prevent things like this to happen is to become a BIG FRAMED MAN. Nobody would dare confront you like this.

What area was this ?

Of course. Man I was getting screwed with a few weeks back by three dudes who wanted my lunch money and I was like "WTF, bitch!". I went NUTS on them. Absolutely nuts. The cops got there about 15 min later and one of the guys was undiscernable. Even dental records couldn't get a positive ID on him. The other guy I'd already blended up, fed into my gas tank, and was burning red smoke out the back of my car, and then the third guy...well I only broke all his ribs and left him alone as a warning to other would-be attackers. Do not mess.

A voice of reason! A person could just slash you right across the face. No amount of surgery will ever bring your face back to how it was. Good luck with most things in life with a messed up face.

This was in Rowland Heights (CA, LA area) in Hong Kong super market's parking lot. I hate that area, mostly rude Chinese people who can't drive, but we'll save that or another thread....

It was probably just a rebadged +10dmg with a Limit Break bonus. Can't trust those damn shady eBay sellers.

Hell, I could beat that with my Big Wang of Terror +8" - it's got Fear attribute, so all I gotta do is unbuckle my pants and any enemies under Level 48 just surrender. :D

Yeah but at least they'd have their dignity

If you aren't armed yourself or at least trained for it I would suggest you never confront or resist someone mugging you. Of course in the case of this guys father he probably just reacted without thinking of the consequences and probably shocked the hell out of his attackers who probably picked him out because he looked like he wouldn't resist and would be an easy mark. He's lucky not to have been hurt seriously

Fourty Five states have concealed carry laws. So yes, people in states that allow law abiding citizens to defend themselves, can carry concealed weapons. The specific laws vary state to state however.

www.packing.org will tell you everyting you want to know about it.

Love to, but I'm in Communist Canada where we disarm our citizens and let the armed criminals roam free. :p

Arm yourself anyway. When I become a Canadian citizen, I'm certainly not going to turn in my weapons. Of course, I'll have the added advantage of having previously been a US citizen so I can buy quality firearms before denouncing my US citizenship.

You're a 17-year old angst-filled bitch. No one cares about how badass or "tough" you think you really are. Go work on your school's AV lab because you are such an awesome 1337 260lb "too much for america" uber-nerd.
