Will update with personal PICS!

Comprehensive review with pictures!

I assume it's "class" doesn't include the V6 or hybrid accords?

I'm pretty sure those are going to be faster than a 235 hp Sonata.

Nice car nonetheless, & certainly a bargain.

Viper GTS

That 10 year warranty is only good if you keep up with all 15k,30k,60k services. Which most people don't understand or care about.

Who buys a car and waits 4 days to get it?

Every time I've bougt one I take it home that same day.

We've had to wait longer everytime because it's ordered for us... not really a big deal

If they don't have the color/options combination you want, you have to wait.

two biz days, sat and sun don't count.

just simple registration process, mandatory insurance setup, etc. This is MA- strictest state when it comes to driving.

I wait 3 biz days to pick up my new 03 Mazda 6 then.

as much as people want to make fun of hyundai (myself included), they're pumping out some high quality stuff. props to 'em:thumbsup:

I just wonder how they age. I know they're pretty reliable now, but do they age well in other ways?

I owned a few Mazdas (626 and MX6) and every one of them became rattle traps after 20,000 miles or so.

On the other hand, my VW Passat is still very solid and quiet after 6 years.

Well, elantras have already proven how well they age.

I dunno. I've never ridden in an old one. That they still run is good, but...

How do they feel and sound inside?

I waited 3 months for my Boxster and a month for my 4runner. Sometimes you have to wait if the vehicle is in demand or they don't have the color/option you want.

OP, your dad made great choice. The new Sonata looks really good IMO.

While this wouldn't be an unreasonable request, I own a hyundai and have never heard of nor run into this problem.

If you dont do ANY servicing and have an issue with a car, the manufacturer is going to give you a very hard time. The schedule for a hyundai is no different that any other car - my father in law has an 01 Accent with 75k on it and had the 30k and 60k done at the dealer (prices were just as cheap as anywhere else), the only big job was the timing belt and even then it wasnt too bad, $350 installed i think. Even oil changes are as cheap at our local hyundai dealer as anywhere else local, and its just not worth the hassle to do it yourself. I feel bad for the suckers still buying new Chevys with 3/36 warranties.
