My Dads passing was quite hard for our family. He got Prostate cancer and went from a healthy 220lbs to a weak and frail 150lbs in a matter of a couple months. I walked around in a daze for many many months before I accepted it.

My best friend was raised by his grandparents from the age of 11 months and onward as his Mother, Father and sister were killed by a drunk driver. He was too young to know his parents and older sister, but he tells me he remembers the smell of his mothers perfume, even as a baby.

I'm sorry to hear that. I lost my dad nine years ago, when I was twelve. He died suddenly from a heart attack. Though I still become sad reflecting on it at times, gradually I have been able to look back on the times I spent with him and smile at the happy memories we shared. Never let go of the memories you have of your dad, but it is true, time heals all wounds, and you will be able to be happy some time much sooner than you can imagine right now.
