for some reason when i use logsitall from work the wods show up in the wrong categories. hopefully, this log will stick around awhile :).

110102 - Jack

amrap 20 minutes:
115 pound Push press, 10 reps (i did 75#)
10 KB Swings, 1.5 pood (i did 1 pood)
10 Box jumps, 24 inch box (my box is only 19")

TOTAL: 8 rds + 4 pp

wow. i had to put the bar down for the last couple of rounds of pp usually 5 then 5. and boy was i winded before and after them.

man the barbell was freezing. i had to put the bar down several times just from my hands hurting from the cold.

i did 97 lbs because i can't do much more than that for hang power cleans.

10 deadlifts
30 ghd situps

201.5 lbs for deadlifts and i did situps on a decline bench with my feet anchored. man the situps were really hard. i usually sub butterfly situps for ghd situps but i tried the bench to more closely mimic the ghd motion.

20 pullups

29:41 (41:41 total - 12 minutes of rest)

i used the purple band for the first set of pullups and the green band for the rest. i also cut the reps in half for the last three sets (as instructed by the coach; i must have looked like sh!t). situps were anchored and with abmat. squats were actually my best exercise.

i used the 20 inch box. man this was rough. the lunges are killer. i had to break it up every round.

i used the green band. not sure what happened but i've been having trouble with pullups lately. that or i gained a lot of weight over the holidays.

30 double-unders (i did 60 singles)
15 power snatch 75#

total: 4 rds + all jump ropes

i always forget how tired i am going to be after the jump rope and think i'll just breeze through the power snatch. then i hit them and i have to keep putting the bar down. at least i was able to do something like 10 then 5 for the first round.

rx is 55-65% of 1RM and i'm pretty sure i can only power clean around 135#-ish so i used 75#.

wow snatch squats are hard. i could only do groups of at most 5 at a time. and i'm pretty sure i didn't squat deep enough.

i was only able to manage 207#. and i had to put the bar down a lot. i think my hands aren't strong enough to grasp that kind of weight for too long. i started at 223.5 but realized i wouldn't be able to continue that for the entire wod.

i used a makeshift abmat for situps and the flat bench for back extensions but i had to anchor my legs around the bottom of the bench which was a pain.
