My coworker is the biggest moocher I've ever seen

Here's several examples:

1) One of my coworkers is in his mid 30's and is married with 3 kids. His daily commute is about 30-40 miles each way per day. However, this week, his parents are out of town on vacation. So, instead of driving his own truck, he just takes his Dad's truck to and from work each day.

He "claims" his parents want him to drive to keep the truck running OK. If I'm gone a week on vacation, I don't get a friend to come by my house and drive my SUV for maintenance. WTF?

2) When he goes to work-related conferences, he always takes his Dad's truck. I figure he's turning the mileage in and keeping the reimbursement for himself.

3) When he's out of the office on vacation, he'll call in to work on his cell to check on his messages (he never has any) and he will then turn in his cell minutes (usually like 5 or so per month) for reimbursement.

4) He always rides with someone to lunch...he never offers to drive.

What a tool.

I charge my cell phone and power tools at work.

I even brought home all the good quality toilet paper before they switced back to single ply.

Haven't bought office supplies in year. Same with faxes and photocopies. I brew extra coffee to bring home and microwave later. I took home one poland spring 5 gallon jug from the water cooler once when no one was watching.

Mind your own fricking business. Looks like you're just totally jealous he doesn't have to "waste" as much as you.

Your username is very fitting.

wow, that all sounds like its none of your buisness

thats aside from maybe not offering to drive to lunch, but you clearly don't like the man so why would you be eating with him anyways?

Stop worrying about what other people do.
People who whine about other people are tools just like the ones they complain about.

On a side note, violence solves everything.

Eh. None of that stuff sounds too bad.

Driving his dad's truck so he won't have to pay for gas is pretty pathetic for an adult with a job.

but what do I know.
