I am not annoyed, by any standards...I find it very amusing to be honest. Apparently ATOT's members' hypocracy knows no bounds.

Wow, just wow. That is pretty bad.

No, it's not like we're capable of multi-tasking or anything. Or that when we DO "work", we produce quality, deliverable results.

It's ok, he's from New Zealand. It probably just came out over there, lol. And yes, if you work or have ever worked in a cubicle farm, rent that movie.

Please tell me that's not true.

It's not that I am astounded that someone would want Friday off to read it. But to freely admit it as the reason you want the day off...

Uhmmm.... The book comes out on Saturday, duh...

I don't think I've ever seen an ad for Office Space.

Movie? I thought it was a TV series  I've never worked at a cubicle farm, but I'll rent it this weekend anyhow. I hate being out of the loop :|

Sadly it is true.

He also wanted the day off for the following:

WoW expansion being released
LoTR online being released
Sci Fi convention was in town and Nimoy was speaking in the early afternoon.

I'm sure there are more I have forgotten about...

He got none of those days off......I'm surprised he keeps asking.

Why can't he get the days off he wants, regardless of the reason? Or is he not a full time employee?

You're thinking of The Office (there's a British version and a US version) but they're talking about Office Space which is a movie.

I know the feeling.

Given that you are the general public, and do not work in my office, which report do you think would be easier for people to read, understand, and quickly refer to specific items? Oh, and have a remote chance of being accurate? This one, or this one? :|

Do you know we're putting cover sheets on all the TPS reports? I'll go ahead and get you a copy of the memo.

He can have the days off he wants...providing he follows protocol and asks for them at least a week in advance. He just has a bad habit of asking a day or two before and if you let one person bend the rules even once.....well....you end up with the rules getting bent over and raped like a drunk sorority girl on spring break.
