My co worker is in the news for child abuse

The majority of child abuse allegations are from an angry spouse jockying for position in court. Much easier to get a better divorce settlement when you can get CPS to start an investigation. Also, to defend against CPS will take needed divorce funds away from litigation to fight CPS. It can easily swing the balance from one spouse to the other.

majority? really?

Not trolling (really), but I wonder if that is even legal if she her work performance hasn't changed at all.

You don't think a person can't find a reason? besides not wanting a child abuser working for me i don't want my company linked to her.

Yes it is legal and there is jack shit they would be able to do.

a person like that IS NOT someone i want on my payroll.

I like that their cover story also has them as horrible parents. "My child just keeps falling out of bed and severely injuring herself. We aren't doing anything about it."

You don't even friend your wife?

Is that how you hide your other gf's?

Sorry I meant I am not friends with the abuser on facebook. I think i used to be but she is no longer on FB.

yeah, it is common to get a skull fracture and fractured hand from falling out of bed or running into a desk. Sadly one co worker believes her story and told me not to believe everything i read when i showed her the original article. Once the article listed in my OP was out I FB her and said still think it is blown out of proportion. No response yet.

Even if it were common, they claim it happened repeatedly and yet they did nothing about it. So they might be guilty of neglect right there...

Working in the Child welfare field and doing my share of investigations, most Allegations turn out bogus, but unrelated to custody. Usually its pretty easy to pick out any custody disputes and dismiss them.
