What really pisses me off though is one time I let him in my room after his continuous b!tching about wanting to come in, he comes in and after a while he goes on the bed and begins to pee on it, I see it at the corner of my eye and I toss him out. the nerve....

If he has peed there once and can still smell it, he may think that it's okay to pee there again.

This is the same reason that when litter training a cat if they do have an accident and take a crap on carpet or something it's best to pick it up with a paper towel and then put it in the litter box and then put the cat in with it.

I've used pet enzyme to clean it but... He does this every once in a while or I guess when he gets a chance. Spite? once agian?

Actually my cat has found about 7 mice, problem is as of late (since the first 3), he has decided to play with them, be a retard and loses track of them, therefore letting them die in the fscking walls creating a very foul odor.

I have two cats and they both eat any bugs that make it in my apt. I don't have a bug infested apt or anything, but any of the ones that make it in (usually moths or something) are eaten up. You should take your cat to the vet. My cats always go in the litter box

My cat does too, but the thing is, every once in a while (every 3 months?) he does this...

:( i keep peeing on my cast...

honestly though, when animals do that it's usually a sign something's wrong, and they're trying to show you....either that or you can't get the smell of cat piss out of your bedding...cat's go where they've gone efore, so if it smells like whiz to them, they'll do it again

This is why I would have thrown out the comforter or had it professionally cleaned.

My cat was fixed as a kitten and is now 10 years old. He has always sprayed to mark his territory (fortunately it's almost always been outdoors, he's only done it about 3 times indoors over the years). The thing that's kind of nasty is that he has taken to humping my daughter's stuffed animals and pillows. WTF? At least he ALWAYS either goes outside or uses the litterbox. He's never had an accident indoors.

Sounds like he wasn't fixed early enough.

No, like I said above, he was fixed as soon as the vet would do it, something like 2 months old. He was not fixed late.

HaHaHa, yea right.

Cats piss all about the house, while cat lovers/owners overlook it, all the while pointing to the sporadicly used litter box as proof of the the contrary.

Have cat indoors = have indoors smell of cat piss.

The only time my cat as ever missed the litter box was when it was turned completely over. She shat on the floor right next to it.

The barfing is the only thing that really bugs me. Particularly that time I stepped in it.

You have no idea what you are talking about. I have had many indoor cats. If they are fixed then they WILL NOT spray.

Also..if you do not get them fixed SOON ENOUGH they will still spray even after being fixed. So if it isn't fixed before the first 6 months or so...sometimes it may be too late.

Maybe his cat has an extra testicle that was hiding from the vet.

I had a cat that was neutered and his balls grew back.

Maybe he just had a couple extra undescended testicles.

i have had indoor/outdoor cats for most of my life and have never had a single incident of a cat pi$$ing in the house.

Unless the animal is a male and not neutered.

Didn't read the thread, so this is probably already covered.

In my experience it is one of these:
1) New pet or outside pet coming near the home.
2) Urinary tract infection (most commonly overlooked cause of peeing in wrong place).
3) The cat wants more attention.
4) The cat is noticing a lot of family stress (one of my cats marks when I'm stressed).
5) Old age.

my gf female cat did that. well peed on sofa, chair, carpet enventually. Nothing wrong with her physically. I hated that damn cat. We finally got rid of it cause there was nothing we could do to stop her. This had been an ongoing issues for years for my gf.

We took the cat the the humane society.

Hate to resurect a dead topic, but my cat is doing something similar, she seems to need to go pee every 5 mintues, and when she tries to go she strains alot goes very little or none at all. I have already taken her to the vet and had her checked for a urinary tract infection. Came back negative. Had her x-rayed for bladder stones, also negative. Vet said it was stress and gave me what is basicaly kitty prozac, and I cant get her to take them. I am at a total loss as to what to do. Other than the litter box issues she seems healthy.
