I already went... I just got home. I felt fine... But the paramedics were insisting that I go in, and my dad got to the scene and made me go to the hospital. I just have scrapes on my arms. Everyone tells me I'll be sore tomorrow.

I guess I was pretty lucky, and I'm really thankful that my car was there for me. I unbuckled my seatbelt and squeezed out the driver's side window.

I'm just so sad about my car.

He was really nice... But... He told me he had a passenger who fled the scene right after we hit (I was still sliding or getting out of the car, I guess). But then he decided to run because he had no driver's license (I hear this from my father, because it happened while I was in the ambulance), and apparently got into a truck that pulled up. The police officer who came to the scene apprehended them at the next freeway.

And then apparently he had no insurance and several warrants out for his arrest.

I don't want a lot of money. I just want enough to pay off my car. I'm not angry or anything, just thankful that I'm okay.

It sucks that he got arrested.

In my experience, people in rollovers are either a) fine, or b) really screwed up, there's not many that fall in between for some reason.

lol... I was asking the paramedics if I could just ride without having to be strapped down, but they declined. I said I didn't want to worry anyone if they saw me on a stretcher with my arm all bloody.

Why are you sorry he was arrested? Guy is driving drunk with no insurance and warrants out for his arrest, causes you to crash your car and possibly seriously injure yourself. He should be arrested for that. Idiot got what was coming to him if you ask me.

Well, I mean, he could have been hurt too. It's really lucky that no one got seriously injured. I was going about 10 miles an hour over the speed limit (I was going 45) before I hit my brakes when he pulled out. I had enough time to swerve to the left so I didn't hit him head on to minimalize risks and damage and stuff, so I think that was part of it. But that's also why my car flipped. Stupid curb.

So, seeing as I was going faster than the speed limit, I think it's partially my fault. I don't know if I could have stopped from 35 (he pulled right in front of me), but maybe I wouldn't have flipped when I hit the curb.

It's a Chrysler 300M. Not everyone's favorite car, but I love it.

I guess I'm sorry because he was so nice to me. He came over to me as I was getting out, and he was asking if I was alright and everything. I mean, he didn't seem like a bad guy, you know? He kept telling me he was worried because my car flipped and everything.

Maybe he is an idiotic drunk driver that deserves to be thrown in jail. Imagine for a second it wasn't you that hit him, but a van with a mom, dad, and 2 babies. Imagine if the same exact thing happened to them, but only the mom and dad survived. Drunk drivers deserve no sympathy, only pity for their ignorance. I call the police on drunk drivers constantly. I see them running into gaurd rails, back and forth, on highways. They could cross the median and hit someone head on. Just because you are okay doesn't mean that this situation is any less tragic. That fvckhead drunk, warrents or not, deserved to be apprehended. If he was driving drunk at 9am, you know that wasn't his first time to do so. Drunk drivers are scum, and deserve nothing.
