Yeah, I'm glad I had 3600 pounds of metal protecting me.

I was standing on the curb in question when I took that pic. My car landed in the middle lane on the opposite side of the road.

And that pic is from my V400 camera phone that landed somewhere outside the car. Funnily enough, my ex girlfriend just emailed me saying she's giving back my real camera.

I already went... I just got home. I felt fine... But the paramedics were insisting that I go in, and my dad got to the scene and made me go to the hospital. I just have scrapes on my arms. Everyone tells me I'll be sore tomorrow.

I guess I was pretty lucky, and I'm really thankful that my car was there for me. I unbuckled my seatbelt and squeezed out the driver's side window.

I'm just so sad about my car.

Damn! That sucks. How bad are the scrapes you have? I had some friends that got in a flip over accident (the car flipped around 4 or 5 time. It was their fault...speeding in a Bronco, took a curve...idiots). Everyone was fine except the driver. His left arm was out the window as it happened. Most of the skin got torn clean off. He had a nasty time healing. (constantly cleaning and re-wrapping the wound untill it healed. Took forever...)

best of luck to you man, don't feel bad about the drunk. As nice of a guy as he may be (MAY be..) he still fled...hit you..drank at 9am?... and has warrents for his arrest. He deserves what he gets, and he'll get what he deserves (Hopefully)

Make sure you're not trying to 'tough' out your pain, there can seriously be some damage done to you without you really knowing, Rogue hit the nail on the head.

Cars are so scary. If there was a practical, safe alternative.. I'd use it.

I guess I can be thankful I have a 1/2 ton Chevy PU as an automobile, even if it does get sh!t for MPG.. lol

Are you sure about that 1% now? I thought it was 2% or maybe 1/2% but only bteween 11 and 4 AM on alternate Thursdays and just a little over the limit but not really drunk and not involving bodily harm with the driver walking away and only if they read their breathalyzer meters correctly and I think you had to be a MADD member with a shotgun, or something along those lines.

Why are you sorry he was arrested? Guy is driving drunk with no insurance and warrants out for his arrest, causes you to crash your car and possibly seriously injure yourself. He should be arrested for that. Idiot got what was coming to him if you ask me.
