my Batman Thread

First, batmans appeal is that he is an ordinary man, who laughs in the face of danger. This makes him believable, and more relatable to. He is simply a ninja in armor, with a love for the theatrical. While S-man is way more fun to watch, Batman is foremost a detective, who avoids conflict at most costs. The gritty gotham, makes Batman, in my eyes, the father of gothic, graphic novels. On to the movie...

Cristian Bale- Great looking man, moreso as Batman. I didn't like his voice as Batman, except the part when he dangled the guy on the rooftop. I love the voice actor Batman in the cartoons. The Bat Suit ruled. The mask especially, with its oversized cheek/jaw bones. I'd buy one of those 'fo sho.

Thomas Wayne- what a freaky actor, who dies and looks your kid in the face and says eerily 'don't be afraid' then dies? Of course your kid will grow up with problems.

The kid, couldn't even shed a tear-I didn't like him, but his role was insignificant.

The overall plot was stupid. The villain, is immortal indeed for those that didn't know, or uses some sorcery to stay vital. I am still curious, why he went to become a criminal exactly?

I also don't understand the Joker...Did this story, not have anything to do with Tim Burton's Batman, in which case Batman figures out who killed his parents only after he creates the Joker?

I didn't like the scarecrow character, the actor is obviously a homosexual, and to sweet to play such a role. Scarecrow was never the most interesting character, but they already used up all the other notabe characters in all the other movies.

I wish Lex made an appearance at Bruce's party, that would have made me stoaked...

Gary Oldman, played a very mild mannered role, albeit funny.

all in all, Batman's back, baby!

because the joker is in the comic books...its not a prequel.

the movie is about how he became batman.

This is totally a redo since they screwed up batman after "Returns".
Scrap everything, they will be making a total of 5 Batman movies. The next featuring the Joker and someone else....

how could you just scrap everything? Again with the two villains per movie...how lame.
