stop crying over words.
replace POS with person and you get the same result.
why are you such a dick knob? do you not have enough friends?

How about you stop labeling people you don't even know "pieces of shit" you self-righteous prick. You don't know this guy's backstory well enough to say something like that!
I sit at a desk 8 hours a day too. I go home a lot of times and just want to sit on my ass after a draining day of putting up with people's BS. I guess that makes me a POS too?..
Well, at least I'm a POS that keeps food on the table and the lights on, can fix most things around the house, work on my own cars, and teach my son the how to throw a 2-seam, a 4-seam, a circle-changup, and a splitter.
I work out just 3 times per week, 1.5 hours per session, and my back issues have gone away completely. I, too, sit at the office ~10 hours per day.
you should try to not take the internet so serious. try reading it with a different tone and maybe you will understand how it's meant to be interpreted.
and in my book if you are lazy, you're pretty much a POS anyways.

For someone who gets his panties into a wad over word choice, you might want to consider how your words offer two contradicting implications.
Just sayin'. 🙂
you really like making yourself look like a moron huh? i'm in better shape than 90% of the people on this board. i play in a latino soccer league on thursdays. i'm pretty sure i've been a HELL of a lot more "active" than you'll ever fathom.
but thanks for stopping by cutie.
well you are the one that said you sit on your ass all day at work, then go home and sit on your ass some more. how are we supposed to know you play "latino" soccer on thursdays?
apparently your back is not in good shape though. one day a week doing cardio isn't going to do much for your back.
and i know all about back problems cause i have 2 partially bulging discs in my lower lumbar that i jacked up squatting wrong over 5 years ago. it still bugs me to this day. an inversion table has done wonders though, which i did not get until like the past year. i wish i got it previously.
i know i have a bad back, and i know i have to take care of it. you should probably start taking care of yours and strengthening your core.
EDIT:
oh and now you admit you run 2-3 times a week. so in your op you mention you sit on your ass 10 hours a day during the week at work, then go home and sit on your ass some more. but now you also play soccer and run 2-3 times a week? why did you leave that information out of the op?
i run 2-3 times/week. granted, i've slacked the last few weeks but i have no problem throwing out 2 miles and 100 push ups within 20-25 minutes every time i go out.
i'm thinking a chiropractor or at least x-rays are in my future. i got an x-ray a few years ago and my left hip was a half-inch lower than my right hip. i''ve done a LOT of wakeboarding for the past 6 years(25mph 5ft-12ft up in the air, slamming, crashing, etc). lost of snowboarding as well. granted, i've been fairly active in the past but feel like it's all catching up with me. i know i can always be in better shape, just looking for any kind of things to try AT work, while i sit 10 hours a day.

I bet you iz fatty
I know people who swear by them and also swear at them. 😉
I drink (non-sweetened juice and water) a lot at work, which makes me have to go to the toilet roughly every hour.
Yes it's only down the corridor, but better than nothing. Also I try to change posture a lot, when seated so as to not remain statically in one position for too long.
Some classic core exercise is also something you should work on. Pushups are good, but inverse push-up holds and side holds are also important. Plenty of other back exercises. You should just put two to three reps of 8-10 exercises before and after your running, to build those stabilizing muscles.
why didn't i have the information? i'm looking for things to do AT WORK(with my chair, any product to try like i mentioned being in the truck stop). i didn't know i needed to post my entire activity log to satisfy you.
if you're calling me out, please go on. do i need to film 2 miles and drop down for 120 push ups to shut you up? do i need to film a game of me playing soccer? do you want to see my 6-pack abs?
or about just talk about how much the inversion table helped you instead of being a fucking douche rocket.
let me know, either way as i'm all ears.
Carrying all the lard around your belt will do that you lazy piece of shit.
🙂
never see you around here much, maybe i'm blind:Beer;
yeah, i went to one a few years ago and paid for the x-rays and a few visits. i did feel relief and probably should have finished the "planned" visits out to judge the outcome. i didn't devote enough time/visits to see if my issues would benefit from a chiro=/

you might want to mention that in your OP instead of thinking we're psychics.
Been supporting you here TS, but I'm going to throw the bullshit flag on your six-pack. Considering you work ~10 hrs/day it is reasonably safe to assume (unless you part of the 4% of the population that eats healthy) that you grab some fast food dinners from time and time and whatnot. Probably drink a few beers like the rest of us, etc. With your chronic back pain I would also safely assume that you don't run or work out at the rate you say you do. Maintaining that strong of a core would eliminate most back pain issues.. Again, just my assumption.
So, in a non-homo way, yes the douche above me (purbeast) would love to see your Abs.
hmmm, go read the OP. not saying i couldn't have done better in explaining(obviously you needed more info). it's not too hard to put it all together, is it?
oh yeah, could only find a photoshopped(think jeebus did it) version since the original is no longer on imageshack. now do i get your respect that i'm actually not a fatty but a very active guy suffering from lower back pain?

Well I work 7-5 mon-fri. When I get off I usually go home and sit some more. Sick of it. My lower back feels like shit. I was in a truck stop type gas station the other day and saw a device that goes between your lower back and chair for $50 that claimed to help with back problems, etc.
What are you guys using to help your back pain from sitting down all damn day? I'm all ears. Not looking to spend $500 for a therapeutic chair or anything.
