what was it? 2400, 2500, or 2600?

It warms my heart that you consider that to be a "mild" OC, seeing as I have a mobile coming in tomorrow :D
can't wait...

my room is hot right now...stupid Texas desert heat :p
I wanna go higher...but I think I've hit my ceiling on this chip :)
The damn thing is plenty fast for me...but I still want more :p

Dude, WTH? I just ordered a mobile XP 2600+ from newegg and I'd be happy 2.2GHz at 1.58v. If I could do 2.6GHz that would be AWESOME! Damn, ECS board and its limited FSB and vcore. :|

I did some research and got a stepping I knew yeilded good results :p if I go to 2.0v or so in the BIOS I could probably get above 2.6ghz :)
I love my NFS-S Rev2 :)
Ill try higher later on.

not too bad :)

i'm trying to find one that can do 2.7 to 2.8 on air!!! :)

the one i have right now can do 2.6 on air @ 1.85 volts... prime stable for 7 hours and then i stopped it... i usually only prime for 6... anyway...

2.6 is still pretty good for 1.9 volts...

i'm contemplating getting a waterblock again to use for the cpu (currently using my water setup to cool my gpu only on a swiftech mcw50t)

then again i do have this prommy also :)

i am running at 2.5 at 1.85, should 1.9 be ok since I have good cooling?

If it'll run prime95 then the voltage is okay.

yeah but isn't that too high "voltage" for a CPU, I heard that people fried their CPU's that way

1.9v is fine...the Model10 cores (Barton) are rated to an absolute max of 2.15v...but I wont run that high !
and shimm I wish I had a prommie :p

is it possible to reach that kind of voltage (1.85v and high) with my T-Bred B DLT3C?

i had a chip that would do 200 x 12.5 @ 1.616 in bios on watercooling of course prime stable for 8 hours, just to get a toaster over at amdmb.

i just noticed my barton is set to 1.9 in the bios, but MBM5 is reading 1.7,which would explain my lacking ability to OC.

1.9v for 2.4ghz seemed a bit steep, i have reasonable stepping and plenty of cooling. what the hell?

i've seen a few first generation bartons running 2volts for well over a year now.

Looks like you are priming on small fft tests? It is much more difficult to pass 24hr of blended test (or even more difficult using custome test and force large fft) than tio pass 24hr of small fft test.

I use small FFTs since im testing the CPU not the ram. blend tests the CPU and ram...alot of ram :p
ever since ive had the NF7-S anything above 200mhz FSB gives me tons of errors in ram no matter what memory I use...be it my XMS 3200 or my XMS 4000 PRO...it only does it on this board...no other board...dont ask i dont know...Ill be lined up for another NF7-S soon to get ri dof that problem. So to get over that Ill test with small FFT's everytime.
