Six weeks for your toe!?! That's how long I spent on a cracked off humerous head in only a sling!

:D You got beat up by a girl.

I've broken an ankle, a thumb and my nose (it's why I'm so purty). I also have had over 50 stitches in my body over my lifetime. No stranger to pain.

lol you wear full leather to go around the block.

I once had 13 stitches in just my tongue at around 6 or 7 years old.

I never broke any major bones. My parents could afford milk growing up despite me being thrown out a second story window onto a pool ladder and worse.

Fuck, we should have known alky was bruce willis from unbreakable. I mean his life does make about as much sense as an M. Night Shayamalan movie plot.

Never had a broken bone in my life.

Broke my middle toe on my left foot last night horsing around with my daughter. Confirmed at the Ortho doc's office today. 6 weeks in a boot and crutches as need. Mother f'in criminy.

Just as my weightlifting was getting back on track (from my knee surgery in December) this happens. sigh....

You must have been very lucky since that bone [sic I know :) ] doesn't exist in your body.

I probably should have clarified but you know the bone in your upper arm? Well that's your humerous.

Also, the top part of it cracked and slipped like an ice cream cone top.

Your Dr. is going overboard out of fear of legal liability.

Nah, he's a pretty cool dude. Let me rephrase, he "recommended" I use the boot, isn't requiring it. Just basically said keep it elevated, buddy it up and give it 4-6 weeks to fully heal.

Obviously a direct correlation between kids and the health of an adult male. Your other one cost you a kidney.

Kids=Broke, busted and disgusted. Damn crumb crushers.

No squats for a long while, I'd guess. Just wait until you have injuries that don't heal...ever. Rest up, put a guilt trip on your daughter..."Another beer, Jeeves.":p

I have broken several toes and never went to the doc. A sturdy splint and keeping off it is all that's needed really. They heal fast - even when you're, uhh, older.

I've broken my big toe and just limped around till it got better. Using tape and cushiony shoes doesn't even feel that bad.

BTW- is the toe all "bendy"? Post pics to gross us all out :D

No pics. sorry. It bends to the left because of how it broke at the base of the joint. The whole toe has severe bruising. Feels better today.

Also, it's obvious I'm a big-assed wimp compared to most posters :(

Should have just amputated. Cant break whats no longer there. Removing the whole foot takes 26 bones out of your equation. Should get you at least another 43 years of no more broken bones.

I've experienced a fractured ankle, left pinky, thumb, and middle finger, as well as the right pinky and thumb. All basketball related. I stopped going to the hospital after the 2nd finger break because those douches would charge you up the ass for a simple splint.

That's OK. We'll send you our extra tampon coupons.
