Never had a broken bone in my life.

Broke my middle toe on my left foot last night horsing around with my daughter. Confirmed at the Ortho doc's office today. 6 weeks in a boot and crutches as need. Mother f'in criminy.

Just as my weightlifting was getting back on track (from my knee surgery in December) this happens. sigh....

Mine ended last summer and I've broken 3 bones (foot, arm, and femur in 2 places) all within the past year. :(

It will heal a little quicker if you supplement with silica, potassium, magnesium, vitamins D3 and K2. Good luck.

I have broken several toes and never went to the doc. A sturdy splint and keeping off it is all that's needed really. They heal fast - even when you're, uhh, older.

shit, i'd just have the middle toe chopper off.

I have a 35 year no broken bones streak going, pretty impressive considering I jack knifed a 4 wheeler going about 30 mph when I was 17, and had more mountain biking accidents than I can count.

I'm going on 13 years without breaking a bone (I'm 24)

However in the first 11 years of my life I:
Broke both my arms (on separate occasions)
Broke both my wrists (on separate occasions)
Broke my middle finger
Tore my ACL
Cracked my knee cap

The great thing is my dad is an orthopedic surgeon.

Funny story about this. When I was about 7, I broke my wrist skiing, and my Dad was just like, "Okay let's find a doctor's office". He busted out the yellow pages in a pay phone, called the nearest one, drove over there in his Ford Bronco and asked if he could use the doctor's supplies. After showing some license/whatever to the doctor he reluctantly agreed and my Dad put me in a cast. He paid the doctor for the supplies, dropped me at the cabin, and went back to skiing.

Other bone breaking experiences were similar. "Okay son, let's go to the office". Talk about weird take your son to work days. "Hi (fellow DR) this is my son OVerLoRDI, yeah he can't shake your hand right now, we are going to go put his wrist in a cast."

I don't think you do toe lifting, so you're good. I broke my big toe and didn't even go to the doctor you wuss :D

Seriously though, it hurts like an MF'er. Soaking in Epsom salts helps with the swelling.

Get a bone stimulator for a hundred bucks and be on crutches for 3 or 4 weeks instead.

Earlier this year I was walking through the living room not looking where I'm going then WHACK my big toe slammed into the sofa.

OMG that hurt like a mofo for almost a week.

Broken toes suck, you never realize how important those guys are until you break them. I've broken a toe before, just try to keep off and drink your milk.

broke toes, fingers, never a major part of my skeletal system.

Tore a bicep, easy fix, happened on the job, no easy fix :(

Fortunately, the two surgeons (both top in Palm Beach) I saw say I am stronger so as long as I keep it up I am probably going to have only minor issues in my day to day life.

All I have to say is if you ever have a workplace injury, never go workman's comp unless you just want a 104 week vacation at 75% of your pay.

:D You got beat up by a girl.

I've broken an ankle, a thumb and my nose (it's why I'm so purty). I also have had over 50 stitches in my body over my lifetime. No stranger to pain.
