Ketchup no doubt. I went to a summer outdoors camp, and the food was so bland, we put ketchup in anything, rice, anything with bread, eggs, any meat, chips, etc. Couldn't say I could do the same with mustard.

I mostly agree, but I can think of a couple of uses for mayo, ketchup's utterly worthless, and it's ubiquitous use is inexplicable to me.

ya it does, but ive been using sour cream lately in place of the evil mayo 😛


all you absolutists out there saying things like "only 3 acceptable tops for hot dogs..." or the same for bacon are limiting yourselves from good food combos. cheese is the best topping for a dog, regardless of what else is on it. bacon is also enhanced by a cheese wrapper. meatloaf with a mushroom gravy tastes even better with ketchup on it. a bad steak is tolerable with ketchup if no steak sauce or sour cream is available. fish sticks are nummy with ketchup, not so much with mustard. ketchup on popcorn is very tasty. regular tater chips with mustard are very good.

Not a fan of ketchup myself. I've just never liked how it tastes. I occasionally like it when I also have mustard at the same time on a burger or something, but generally I prefer barbecue sauce in place of ketchup.
