and this is exactly what i was talking about in the 24 thread... it seemed like muslims/middle easterners were being targeted for a pro-profiling message. maybe some of you didn't see it because you're white and don't really care, but that's how it's perceived by others...

as chinese, i can tell you that we don't terrorize.
chinese people are all selfish mofos who think about themselves first before about the government or religion. (as in we won't be martyrs to a cause)
no i'm serious. in the long distant future there may be a war between chinese and americans, but one thing for sure, is that the general chinese population will never be 'good' terrorists like the radical islamists are today. 'good' as in 'professional' and 'unquestioning mass murdering drones'

it won't work with 24. mafia are out for money, while terrorists are for nothing but terrorism and causing mass casualty. the sense of urgency won't be there with a gang or crazy mafia people.
the only way for 24 to be dramatic is against terrorists. and to get more viewers, the only way to do it is to reflect on the present conflicts. ie. radical islamic terrorism. it's only more dramatic when the viewers realize that this CAN HAPPEN in reality.
look at what agency jack bauer works for specifically, Counter-Terrorism Unit, not Counter-Mafia Unit
The only reason they are 'good' as in 'professional' is bcause they dont have access to education at all. The only form they know is 'madarsa' where a educationally unqualified priest teaches them about jihad. so from childhood thats the only thing they know.
