I'm not sure what throwing rocks at a bunch of dancers will do but this is crazy and sad.

Jewish dance group stoned in Hanover, Germany
German police are investigating the stoning of a Jewish dance group trying to perform on the street in the city of Hanover.

Youths reportedly shouted "Juden Raus" (Jews Out) as they attacked the dancers of the Chaverim ("Friends" in Hebrew) dance troupe last weekend.

Police said several Muslim immigrant youths were among the attackers and two youths were being questioned.

A German Jewish leader said she feared growing anti-Israeli sentiment.

'So awful'

The group was trying to perform in Hanover's Sahlkamp district, which has a large immigrant community.

One of the dancers was injured in the leg and the troupe cancelled the performance after the attack.

Police said one German suspect aged 14 and a 19-year-old of North African origin were being questioned.

Alla Volodarska, of the Progressive Jewish community of Hanover, told Associated Press news agency she had spoken to the dancers involved.

"What happened is just so awful. The teenagers started throwing stones the moment our dance group was announced, even before they started dancing."

Charlotte Knobloch, president of the Central Council of Jews in Germany, told the Die Welt newspaper that anti-Semitic feelings were widespread in both far-right and Muslim communities in the country.

"It particularly saddens me that those anti-Semitic views can already be seen with such vehemence among children and youths," she said.

Germany has a large imported population of Turks who are the subject to German discrimination and when the Israel State is out of control in discriminating and alienating both Turkish Nationals and the Palestinian residents of Gaza, we are all supposed to be shocked and stunned when what goes around comes around and turns into antisemitism in Germany.

Why can't we just admit that racial and religious discrimination in any form is rotten.

Yeah, why can't we all just admit that, and stop trying to excuse particular examples of it like you're doing here. Hypocrit.

The only thing more shocking and unpredictable would be if Dave "I've been" McOWNED appeared and said "As long as it pisses off Republicans, it must be good!"

If you want to make an excuse for sub-18 kids throwing rocks at others because of Israel's policies and " Turkish discrimination" (hahaha) you really need help. But thats already known, you are a terrorist sympathizer and would be glad to see a country with millions of people be destroyed.

You are just like terrorists. you feel innocent people should suffer because of a disagreement of policies.

what did these dancers ever do to these people? nothing. These uneducated muslims, the same kind that become suicide bombers, try to blame innocent people, thousands of miles away from a conflict.

Au contrare woolfe9999, its you who is the hypocrite.

To start with, I excuse no religious or racial discrimination, your fantasy Island delusion is that we can have one form of religious or racial discrimination without inspiring other forms in other peoples.

Only a fool pretends that we can reduce one form of religious or racial discrimination with out saying all forms of religious and racial discrimination are wrong and should be punished. And failing that, too many will say if one party gets a free pass to practice religious and racial discrimination, why should not some other group have a coequal right to have that free pass.

In short, if we endorse and subsudize one form of religious and racial discrimination, we get more religious and racial discrimination of all flavors worldwide.

What is hard to understand about that?

What is so hard to understand is how you can't condemn an act against Jews in a European country without blaming Israel for it. The people who perpetrated this violence chose to do so; they chose to translate hatred of Israel in anti-semitism; their parents chose to teach them anti-semitism. Israel did not force them to do these things. You are denying their responsibility for their own actions and are instead trying to shift the blame to a third party who is thousands of miles away. It's classic apologia. I've never once seen you try to justify an act of violence by Israel by making reference to the acts of others. Israel, you claim, is responsible for its own acts. But not European Muslims who attack Jews. Oh no. The Jews should have seen that coming of course, because of the big bad Israel. YOU are quite obviously the hypocrit here, and it's plain to basically everyone.

I used to debate Holocaust deniers on another forum, and you know what they say about "anti-semitism?" It goes like this. "Anti-semitism," by definition, must be an irrational hatred of Jews. Yet Jews do many bad things, and it isn't wrong to point out all the bad things people do. Hence, the charge of "anti-semitism" is unfair, as most of the things that anti-semites claim about Jews are true. In other words, the Jews bring it on themselves. They should have known this was coming.

Sound familiar?

Rather, hate-mongering bigots say so by posting fraudulent translations of Islamic texts, much the same as the many slanderous misrepresentations of Jewish texts which one can also find around the internet. For example sake, the first quote in your link claim Qur'an 2:61 says:

Humiliation and wretchedness were stamped on the Jews and they were visited with Allah's wrath.
Yet you won't find any legitimate translation of Qur'an anything of the sort, as evidenced by checking Qur'an 2:61 in three of the most popular English translations:

YUSUFALI: And remember ye said: "O Moses! we cannot endure one kind of food (always); so beseech thy Lord for us to produce for us of what the earth groweth, -its pot-herbs, and cucumbers, Its garlic, lentils, and onions." He said: "Will ye exchange the better for the worse? Go ye down to any town, and ye shall find what ye want!" They were covered with humiliation and misery; they drew on themselves the wrath of Allah. This because they went on rejecting the Signs of Allah and slaying His Messengers without just cause. This because they rebelled and went on transgressing.

PICKTHAL: And when ye said: O Moses! We are weary of one kind of food; so call upon thy Lord for us that He bring forth for us of that which the earth groweth - of its herbs and its cucumbers and its corn and its lentils and its onions. He said: Would ye exchange that which is higher for that which is lower? Go down to settled country, thus ye shall get that which ye demand. And humiliation and wretchedness were stamped upon them and they were visited with wrath from Allah. That was because they disbelieved in Allah's revelations and slew the prophets wrongfully. That was for their disobedience and transgression.

SHAKIR: And when you said: O Musa! we cannot bear with one food, therefore pray Lord on our behalf to bring forth for us out of what the earth grows, of its herbs and its cucumbers and its garlic and its lentils and its onions. He said: Will you exchange that which is better for that which is worse? Enter a city, so you will have what you ask for. And abasement and humiliation were brought down upon them, and they became deserving of Allah's wrath; this was so because they disbelieved in the communications of Allah and killed the prophets unjustly; this was so because they disobeyed and exceeded the limits.
Can you acknowledge the difference between the hate-mongering misrepresentations and legitimate translations? Granted, one has to be familiar with previous Abrahamic text to understand what that verse actually refers to, such as Matthew 23:37-38, where Jesus speaks of exactly the same thing:

O Jerusalem, Jerusalem, thou that killest the prophets, and stonest them which are sent unto thee, how often would I have gathered thy children together, even as a hen gathereth her chickens under her wings, and ye would not! Behold, your house is left unto you desolate.
Nether Bible nor Qur'an slander "the Jews" by any stretch, in those verses or otherwise, but rather both speak frankly of the sorted history of Abrahamic religion. Understood?

It's not just the nature of man. Chimpanzees, for example, wage war as well: http://www.reuters.com/article/idUSTRE65K48G20100621

Which is my favorite thing to bring up when animal rights hippies start talking about how terrible humans are. They just like to ignore the fact the animal kingdom is in a constant state of war. Species vs Species or inter-species wars happen all across the animal kingdom. It's the nature of living.

Is Lemon Law representative of a political ideology or does he latch onto one that he believes is closest to his unyielding tolerance for such actions? Certainly one would be foolish to comment on a lynching of a black man with "Racism is horrible in any form. Look how the blacks beat up white kids" then seriously expect their first comment to be taken as sympathy for the hanged man.

Yet that comparison will be denied. Why? Because he simply hates Israel. That there are legitimate areas of discussion, the a priori approach taken nullifies any serious discourse.

It would seem to me that any individual act of good or evil stands on it's own as such. Bringing other issues is specious, and more than that painfully transparent.

It may be good at inciting others to react, but it does nothing to merit serious consideration, assuming that was the reason for posting at all.
