I've been s.e.v.e.r.e.l.y under the weather :( , so I've not had much chance to get beyond a rough outline of my Platmando part, but I'm back at it this morning :)

Holy Platypusses (Platypi?) batman ;) , a MM JP6 :D...I like it! Nice use of the tremolo btw. I also like those Mesa Boogie's hanging out behind.

I think I'm going to start shopping for a sweet little tube combo amp for starters. I have an old vintage Fender Champ that's been sitting away in my closet for a couple decades. It's a sweet little amp, but it's in need of a restoration (LOL, I had forgotten about it and spotted it the other day looking for something:confused: )

anyway that's a nice stable of gear you got <I know there's more too>, and good job putting it to use

Here's something I'm noodling around with this morning whilst working up some inspiration for PlatManDo.

LMK what you think :p (I can up the rhythm section or whatever if anyone wants to play around with it?)

Features a horribly repetitive drum track and Me on the guitars.........

I updated the bassline on my track above at the same link, I think it sounds much better.

I really like that a lot rick, tons of potential with that... I've got lots of ideas already listening to the rhythm section.

If you wouldn't mind upping that I'd love to mess around with it. Very cool groove to it!

I agree. I'm working out a little slide guitar that might go with that, it'll be a bit before I have something though....

OK, here's the complete Rythm section. Its a Bass + Rythm guitar (both double tracked) and the Drums.

LMK if anyone needs the individual tracks....

YupYup-yu RYTHM :)

Sorry about the delay  , but I think I've finally worked out my parts for PlatManDo enough for comment. I'm basically happy with it, but some of my stuff is pretty weak...

I basically broke the song down into 6 parts.

Here's a (very) rough mix with all the parts we have so far PlatManDo_Draft1

Disregard the mix itself and please comment on what you think and if I took it proper direction ect...

I gotta get back on this. Even for just 20 mins a day. It sucks having such a weird schedule now though.

Wow rick, some pretty kick ass ideas going on there, I like your part on the first breakdown a lot, esp the harmony section.

I like the lead a lot during my tremolo picking part too, very tastefully done!

I'm sick as a dog today so I'm gonna probably spend most of it playing guitar lol, I'll get some stuff on paper for the rhythm section you made up there!

Bass players, have at this new draft!

Here's another one to play with. :)

Very simple 2 chord progression; D# > C repeat.

Rhythm Section only. Me playing a couple rhythm guitars (clean + rectified) + Bass and my friend the Session Drummer.
