If I like a band, are they really mediocre? That said there are a few artists that have "that one good song" amongst their plethora of terrible's. Among those I'd say are:

Crossfade
Monster Magnet
Antiflag
Staind
Fleetwood Mac
*edit to add Creed

fleetwood mac has more than one good song, but you have to listen to their first couple of albums to get them. most people arent familiar with them at all before stevie nicks was in the band, and their sound early on was quite different.

By the way I laugh at myself all the time, and in fact I find myself pretty fucking hilarious sometimes even though nobody else does.

I heard a pretty rockin song on the radio the other day, I was like "who is that?" And the DJ came on after the song and said it was My Chemical Romance. Long story short, I am now gay.

I listen to some gay ass shit. But I'm not in HS. I don't give a flying fuck in terms of what others think.

I literally listen to everything:
Spice Girls
Opeth
Avril Lavigne
Arch Enemy
Diana Krall
Old school 90s rap (Tupac / Biggie)
Utada Hikaru (Jpop)
Love video game music (Chrono Trigger, FF, Warcraft II & III)
Also a big fan of scores- Hans Zimmer, John Williams...

etc...

how is Diana Krall lame? she's badass! very few who recognize or have exposure to that other stuff probably don't even know who she is

as for the others stuff...eh, i don't know....gay, I guess 😛

"Someone who is obsessed with Japan/Japanese Culture/Anime, etc. and attempts to act as if they were Japanese, even though they're far from it. They use Japanese words but usually end up pronouncing them wrong and sounding like total a**holes. You can find alot of these f***ts clogging up the forums of Gaia Online, hanging out in the international aisle of the supermarket, or crowding the manga section of your local bookstore. Synonym of wapanese."

Ah! At my high school, we called them "dragon kids." This is due to the fact that they wear the button down shirts with the dragony designed on them. Other typical characteristics include: The playing of Magic, DnD character sheets, unshaven face, long hair, lack of bathing, long fingernails, using TI83's to keep track of points in MTG, use of random japanese words, incessant talk of anime, WoW, and many other points.

The Dragon Kid section of the cafeteria often took up 2-3 tables. I now go to University of Cincinnati and there is a local Dragon Kid chapter there as well. (Oddly enough, about half of the kids there I recognize from my highschool). I try to steer clear of the tables they occupy lest I become tainted.

Note: I went to an all male school.

you have a poor sense of humor. That's just not even funny. You're probably the awkward, creepy guy who tries to make his own jokes but absolutely fails.

The Cardigans, for sure.

YES!!! GOD YES!

Although I don't feel the least bit guilty. They might have flopped in America, but everyone I convince to give them a fair chance ends up realizing that they are actually a pretty cool band.

Absolutely. I am not ashamed either, but its the best choice I could think of for a thread like this.

Most current fans don't even know there was a Fleetwood Mac before 1975. FWIW, my favorite F. Mac track is Oh, Well.

Back OT, guilty pleasures? How about Haysee Fantassee's Shiny, Shiny, or the Belle Starrs' Iko Iko?
