Yes, I've done that and it works. As long as they are quality RAMs.
One thing though. The 3500 will not be fully used to its capabilities since the 3200 will hold it back a little on peak speeds.

that depends how you use the timings. typically all 3500 memory is just 3200 that runs at 3500 with looser timings.

bump, excellent memory.

These are Mosels. They WILL NOT RUN CAS 2.0-2-2-6 at 200MHz.
I got the PC3200 Black Level I which have the same Mosel chips but are hand-selected to run CAS 2.0-3-2-6 at 200MHz.

Although those may be able to get you up to 233MHz cas CAS 2.5 if you set the command rate to 2T/

ALL the New 512 3200 blue come with UTT. Frys was the 1st to get them. It is available at the Frys Retail/ Brick and Mortor stores as well as online. They are all UTT based parts. The old ones were Mosel.

So is this like really good memory? I want to buy about 2G for my new p4 3.0 on an asus p4p800 deluxe and I want to get the best I can get for a good price. I'm ready to pull the trigger but I am not as educated in memory as most of you are. I really don't plan on overclocking but I want good proformance. Seems like UTT has been talked about a lot on here as being really good..

Thanks

i saw the pic of your rig in that link. is that fan dangling by duct-tape over the RAM slots needed for stability at those voltages? they say the OCZ Vx stuff doesn't need additional cooling.

My Asus P4P800 mobo with the latest BIOS won't let me up the voltage on the memory more than 2.85v; is there a utility out there I could use or is there a mobo BIOS you know of that is compatible with my mobo which will enable me to get higher voltages to my memory for overclocking? The Asus P4P800 has an Intel 865PE chipset.

Attn. Aziankid2004,

Do you know if buying 2 of these Mushkin Blue Line sticks will function just as well in Dual Channel as those sold as "matched" Muskkin Blue Line Dual Channel kits?

Barnacle

I talked to Steve at Frys and the Dual Pack Version are shipping this week to Outpost and all the stores...

Frys PLU 3602905 991140 DDR 1GB 3200 D BLUE

I think if you get both sticks- individually they should work as dual channel...if not you can call Mushkin and they can reprogram it for you. Brian and Diane over there are great.

afaik, there is no special programming done for dual channel vs. single sticks. they may get tested together for 'compatibility', but the dual packs are just a marketing schtick.

i think it's good, though to use the same brand/model of memory, because between those there can be compatibility, but just ordering 2x(same stick), you should be fine.

I am running 1 gig of mushkin blue right now in dual channel. They were purchased as two seperate sticks not as a package. Just an FYI for those concerned.

what other settings are you running? it's spec'd @ 2-3-3. are you trying 2-2-2 or just spec settings?
