Newegg has an MSI Mech Radeon RX 6600 8GB GDDR6 PCI-E4.0 GPU: https://www.newegg.com/msi-radeon-rx-6600-mech-2x-8g/p/N82E16814137690

$239.99 - $30 promo code - $20 MIR = $189.99 when all is said and done.

This is the last day for the promo code. The card also has a BF price protection - allegedly you'll get reimbursed automatically if the price drops further between purchase and 11/26.

For reference, just going off PCPartPicker, an RX 6600 seems to hover in price between $210-$250, depending on brand/sales.

Edit: checked this morning and price after rebate is still in effect - no need for the promo code.

It has more display outs than the Sapphire Pulse that is the only other 6600 I have seen go under $200 NIB. It crushes anything in the price range for gaming. RTX 3050 has the edge in ray tracing, but that really doesn't factor in heavily at the performance tier IMO. And the cheapest NIB 3050 I have seen is $249.

Be aware YMMV on the rebate. The last time I tried a MSI rebate, they kept rejecting it, even after sending the extra copy they asked for. Everything was filled out and included. The copy also was evidence of that. Never got the $30 back. Had a problem with a 3rd party that handled rebates from other vendors too. At this point I don't even bother with them.

I haven't had this issue with MIRs, but yes, that is always something to be wary of. I guess I'll be trying my luck shortly - I purchased this today as a start to my desktop rebuild after 6.5 years. Somehow, this card didn't end up on my radar - PCPartPicker claims that this card won't fit in my Corsair 250D, but the published dimensions suggest that it should be just fine.

I guess if I have an issue with the rebate, I can always take it up with my CC company. TigerDirect tried to pull some crap on me many years ago with a rebate: they advertised a motherboard with a rebate, and it turned out that the rebate didn't apply at all. American Express had no problem approving my dispute with the evidence I provided.

Card came today, and the rebate process was much simpler than in years past: an all-paperless option was available. Just had to upload a PDF of the invoice and a picture of the UPC + S/N sticker.
