Read this a bit ago when I went to go to Nissan's website. Personally, I'd prefer typing three less characters, because I am a fat, lazy, American slob... so I hope Nissan Motors wins

Ah hypocrites!
If I registered starcraft.com before Blizzard did, and used it for kitty porn, you all would be in a uproar.
Then I can shove a mouth full down your throat about law and human rights. (which I would be wrong in anyway because kitty porn would make starcraft look bad).
None the less, I do not understand why Nissan motors didn't just buy the damn thing. Where they tryin gto set an example?

The kiddy porn is an entirely different situation. If you had a hobby of making crafts that had stars in them, I think you should be within your rights to keep using 'starcraft.com' for whatever uses you deem fit.

Ok...let me tell you how many people where on the internet 20 years ago looking for Mr.Nissan let alone now...um 0!!!
Nissan is his family name, so I guess he's selling his family on www.nissan.com. No really, why would anyone want to side with this convoluted arrogant dick-weed who squats on a trade marked name for his own personal purpose? Nissan makes affordable and safe cars while fueling the worlds economy with employment and goods. This guy is a self employed nut job who offers a generic service you can find walking 10 feet from your house. I don't think he has any plans on expanding to the size of Nissan Motor USA any time soon.
God that bugs me. I know some small business owners who deserve the world for the work they put in. Some of them make it big, but they earn their respect. Mr. Nissan hasn't earned anything but embarrassment. Nissan Motors however obviously earned their respect for many years.
Have you tried visiting Anandtech.com lately?Originally posted by: rh71
Meanwhile Mr. Nissan is making a killing on the ad at the bottom of the page. Who does that when running a personal business website? Greedy folks.
I don't think he should give up the name, but he's profiting off this too.
