How do they dub those movies to say other things? Like when there is cussing that cannot be aired, how do they change the audio from f*ck to hell or something like that?

Update: Who has the best example of a dub?

heh.. In Back to the Future there are times where Marty says "Holy Shit!" but in the tv dubbed version he says "Holy Jesus!". Sounds pretty bad.

LOL! 'So real????' They sound terrible. Instead of having the desired impact the dub makes you laugh.

'motherfucker' becomes 'melon farmer' , as above 'see what happens when you fuck a stranger in the ass' becomes 'what happens when you find a stranger in the alps'

I can't believe they'd even show The Big Lebowski on a channel where they'd have to dub it.
 
the best I ever ever saw was a few months ago, Die Hard was on Spike or something, and every fuck was replace with Joe, it damn near killed me watching it
