I was watching A Bridge Too Far yesterday and marveled at all the known actors in it. It's a Mad Mad Mad Mad World has at least 20 names in the cast that a million or more people would know offhand. Is there a movie with more stars than this ?

I got the DVD for A Bridge Too Far and I was also amazed at the amount of stars in it. I do not know of any movies with more in it.

Easily must be The Longest Day. Black and white movie about D-Day, had a star-studded cast from all over the world. If it isn't, I'll be surprised. A Bridge to Far sounds competitive tho.

Wow, good ones -- the longest day seems to be right there as to the number of people I recognize, but that don't mean crap. Mars Attacks is close behind.

Dude, Cannonball Run doesn't count. It was one of those sh1tass movies with Cameos by everyone. Like Naked gun, etc.

i was just gonna say ocean's 11 ! it's based on an old sinatra movie i believe. i saw the trailer too, and it has an INRCREDIBLE amount of "stars" in it...whether that will translate into profit has not been determined yet :) though the movie LOOKS cool

Then half the movies that boast a full cast of stars don't count either! Add up the total screentime for each 'star' and you'll end up with ten minutes or less. :p

I count about 21 in JFK, about 20 in cannonball run, but cannonball run 2 (which I've thankfully never seen) has about 35 ! Hmm, that is alot. Now the question of whether such a movie should count or not. I don't see why not.

I thought the title said "stairs", and I was gonna say Labrynth, but now that I can read I would have to say Ready to Wear.

Probably not the most, but THE THIN RED LINE had a lot. The cast included Sean Penn, Jim Caviezel, Ben Chaplin, George Clooney, John Cusack, Woody Harrelson, Elias Koteas, Nick Nolte and John Travolta.
