always. the trick is to go to the bathroom after the movie ends. and come out and go to another movie. 😀

How does that work when you have to go back through the ticket person? 😛

EDIT: And no I haven't... I may be a cheap ass, but I'll pay for my tickets.

ah the bathroom is inside the movie complex for us. so theres no ticket guy to go through.

I have a few times. I didn't like paying $8 to see one movie, so I paid $8 to see two or three movies. Add in a large bucket of refillable popcorn, and you have yourself a full day!

It's ridiculously easy at my local theater. No employees anywhere near the actual doors, and they're all underpaid high school students so they wouldn't care anyway.

Unlike most other theaters who pay their employees 60K...

I couldnt imagine watching consecutive movies at a theater. After one movie, Im ready to go home.

Yeah, I'm with you. I get physically fatigued after watching just one movie. Sitting in that seat for so long makes my back hurt and my neck hurt. Although there is this one theater near me now that has really big comfortable reclining seats and I never had a problem with them...

I did this all the time when I was a kid, but I'm pretty sure the management knew and didn't care. The little movie theater in my hometown is really old, and has an upstairs theater and a downstairs theater. Thursdays were cheap night (the movie was only $1.50), and we would see both with no questions asked. It seems like one time one of the movies was really popular and crowded, so management stopped us and asked us to not sneak into it.

In larger theaters, there are many bathrooms all not requiring passing by the ticket person 🙂

heh.. we did this back in highschool. We even had a theatre where it was possible to sneak in without buying any tickets. They had the arcade past where the ticket taker was, so all you had to do was go pretend like you were playing video games for a while till someone forgot about you, then just walk into whatever movie you felt like.

people have the funniest arguments sometimes, this is just like the music piracy argument where people pay one thing then make their own rules such as, hey 8 dollars is too much i will pay you, not say anything, then view three movies to make it fair!

I don't think he was justifying it. He just said he didn't feel like paying... so he didn't.
