I'm surprised Switzerland became quite a topic here... Here are some answers and minor corrections:
Zebo Only army members have a full-auto gun at home (it's a rifle, not a machine gun). Civil gun possession is relatively common, but a special permission is needed to bear them on a daily base. Many villages have a shooting stand (a common distance is 300 meters) and there are shooting festivals, however they are about marksmanship contests, not about leading a target with full-auto guns. Shooting is less widespread in urban areas.
After 12 years living in Switzerland one can apply for citizenship, however the canton and the commune can reject the request. That's federalism, too... In practice, the percentage of allowed applications varies across the country.
laFiera until the opening times were liberalized, stores had to close at 6.30 p.m (mo-fr) and at 4.00 p.m (on saturdays). 2.00 p.m sounds more like a rather isolated place...
CanOWorms There is one Bunker for asylum seekers who were rejected or who conceal their identity because they don't want to return. (Rejection means Switzerland denied them refugee status). The Bunker is used because there is an article about helping in immediate emergency situations in the Constitution. However the selection of the Bunker was controversial. (Some photos of the Bunker are

Nobody gets rejected because of his ethnic group affiliation.
Bozo Galora It's possible to spend $30 for a breakfast, maybe in a noble hotel. However in restaurants $7-$15 seem more realistic to me (depending on what you consider a breakfast

)
I don't know all details of the prerequisites to become Swiss citizen, but being resident in Switzerland for 12 years at least half of the time seems to be a main requirement. It is however not true that the people of your commune vote if you become a citizen. One commune did this, but in the end the federal court ruled that this procedure was unconstitutional.
Yes, people still cary their rifles to the shooting range

(Members of the army are obliged to pass a shooting test once a year outside of their normal duty and like I already mentioned, there are many gun club members)
The right to vote for women was introduced in 1971, a bit late for our old democracy...
