Motorcyclists, do you leave your bike in gear when parked?

Neutral or first. Depends on how hard I want to try to find neutral (I'm still new at this :p)

Also, I generally use my centerstand, not the kickstand. More stable :)

European Harley models have a kill switch unless the side stand is up, the domestic models don't.

Not sure I understand that...is there a situation in which you'd want your bike in gear, the clutch out and the side stand down? I'm guessing it is a regulation for European bikes and only common sense here...well, maybe not in the case of Harley Davidson. They probably would have had to pay some furigner a royalty (probably the Japanese or zee Germans) to use that switch on their US bikes.

No it's just a safety feature for not riding away with the kick stand down, some people forget.
