I can't tell, is that one of the ELM 327 clones, or is that using a genuine ELM 327 chip ?
BTW, just got my $50 discover credit + cashback from another site... so, final price was $40.
Excellent deal! :)

I don't know, but it works great on all of my cars! Has already more than paid for itself

I would have purchased the iPhone OBD-II unit since my primary phone is an iPhone, but the Bluetooth is incompatible, so you have to go with a Wifi OBD-II unit (same price), except that the reviews are terrible & say it's really hard to connect to & you get bounced off. Zero issues with my Android Bluetooth model. Plus Torque Pro is freakin' amazing!

holy crap! it's $45.29 right now

been looking for new phone to replace my droidx2 on pageplus and this would have been perfect except for requiring it to be on verizon prepaid for 6 months.

I rarely use my phone and when I do it's for phone calls or to use as mp3 player in my car. If I need data, I turn on the wifi. So I only use the prepaid $10 cards. would be nice to have data without the wifi but I don't need it that often, plus I pay like $40 a year for cell phone service and don't want to spend more.

I hate the droidx2 though. so slow. been thinking about getting a Galaxy S3 off ebay for around $100 or so. Gotta stick with 3g until pageplus lets me use a 4g phone without requiring a monthly plan.

Think of switching off of Pageplus. Although I was reasonably happy with PP I dumped them in December to go over to an ATT based MVNO because of the vastly expanded selection of phones at a much lower cost new (versus buying some mostly worn-out used phone on swappa or ebay, like I had been doing). I ended up with a Nokia 635 FAR and my wife got a Moto G ($25 after rebate) with more data, same level coverage for about the same price as we paid at PP. Getting completely away from Verizon was the best decision I've made in a while.

Problem is where I live/travel AT&T signal sucks. Verizon (PP) isn't much better, but it's the best in terms of getting a signal.

Not too sure how any phone with 8GB ROM (prob 2-3 usable) and no micro-sd expansion can be all that good as an MP3 player.

Yeah I was thinking the same thing. Only way around this would use a OTG thumb-drive or cable but that makes it "bulky"
